I write with regard to the petition under consideration in your inquiry into energy policy and planning in Wales:-

P-04-324 Say No to Tan 8 - Windfarms & High Voltage Power Lines Spoiling our Communities

We live in a remote part of Mid Wales.

We consider ourselves very fortunate to wake up each day surrounded by a beautiful landscape that has remained unchanged for thousands of years.

A destruction of this should only be speakable if it were for reasons out of our control - for example - war.

We have a choice here - we can leave it unscathed, the beauty, the nature, the wildlife, for our children - or we can destroy it only to regret this in the years ahead.

Wind power is not 'green', it is not 'efficient', it is not at all 'cost effective', and it is highly destructive.

Please consider the alternatives that you have - the sums just do not add up.

I am not a religious person but I leave you with this ' Nobody should have the power to destroy what god has created'.

TAN8 should be reviewed, or superseded with immediate effect.
